PRAYER PSALM 17

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.
(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

Hear a just cause, O YHVH - El Shofet (Judge), attend to my cry, give ear to my prayer, which is not from deceitful lips. Let my vindication come from Your presence and let Your eyes look on the things that are upright. For You have tested my heart. You have visited me in the night. You have tried me and have found nothing, for I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

By the word of Your lips, Abba, I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer and from the works of men. I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O El Yeshua’tee (my Salvation), incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech, uphold my steps in Your paths that my foot may not slip.

Because I put my trust in You, Abba, show me Your marvelous lovingkindness. Through Y’min’cha (Your Right Hand), Abba, Yeshua’tee (my Salvation), You have saved me from those who rise up against me, from the wicked who oppress me, from my deadly enemies who surround me. They have closed up their fat hearts and with their mouths they speak proudly. They have now surrounded me in my steps. They have set their eyes upon me, crouching down to the earth, just as a lion is eager to tear his prey, and like a young lion lurking in secret places.

Arise, Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), confront him, cast him down and deliver my life from the wicked. With Your sword in Your hand, O M’gee’nee (my Protector/Shield), deliver me from men of the world who have their portion in this life, and whose belly You fill with Your hidden treasure. They are satisfied with children, and leave the rest of their possession for their babes.

But as for me, Abba, keep me as the apple of Your eye, hide me under the shadow of Your wings, El Elyon (God Most High). For I will see Your face in righteousness; and I shall be satisfied when I awake with Your likeness.

Hallelu-Yah!!! For You YHVH are Elohim. You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov. Avi the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 16

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.
(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

My soul has said to You, YHVH, "You are Tzid’kee (my Righteousness),” thus my goodness is nothing apart from You. O YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup, You maintain my lot. I will bless You, YHVH - Yo’a’tzee (my Counselor), for You have given me counsel and instruction, in my heart, during the night seasons.

I have set You, Abba, YHVH - Elohey Cha’ya’i (my Life), always before me, and because You are always at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Kadosh (Holy/Set-Apart), ones to see corruption.

YHVH, You are the husbandman of the seed of Avraham. You delight in these set-apart ones who are on the earth; the ones who contain Your glory. But those who hasten after another god; their sorrows shall be multiplied and their drink offerings of blood, I will not offer, nor will I have anything to do with them, nor will I take up their names on my lips.

You, El Yeshua’tee (my Salvation), are the Way, the Truth, and the Life, therefore You will show me the path of life; for in Your presence is fullness of joy and at Y’min’cha (Your Right Hand), are pleasures forevermore. Therefore the markings of the boundaries of my inheritance have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good heritage. Watch over me, El Elyon (God Most High), for in You, I put my trust.
